Accomplishments
Ty Torrance graduated from UGA with a Bachelor of Science in agriculture and a master of plant protection and pest management degree. Upon graduation, he began working for the University of Georgia Extension Service. He served in counties with significant vegetable production since 2016 and currently serves as the Tri-County Vegetable Agent for Tift, Colquitt and Worth Counties. Ty has also served on the Georgia Fruit and Vegetable Commodity Commission Research Review Board since 2021.
