Freshedge expands with Frontier Produce aquisition

Frontier Produce, an Oklahoma-based produce distributor, has joined FreshEdge, a U.S. fresh food distribution network supported by Wind Point Partners.

For three decades, Frontier Produce has supplied premium-quality fruits, vegetables, proteins, dairy and specialty items to foodservice establishments in Oklahoma and southwest Missouri. The company operates out of three facilities in Tulsa and Oklahoma City, totaling over 80,000 square feet of warehouse space.

With this acquisition, FreshEdge now operates more than 1.3 million square feet of warehouse space across 35 facilities and maintains a fleet of over 1,100 trucks.
