Syngenta adds communications manager to crop protection, communications team

A new communications manager has been named at Syngenta.

Syngenta has appointed Susan Luke as its senior communications manager for Syngenta U.S. Crop Protection and Corporate Communications.

Luke will report to Kathy Eichlin, head of Syngenta’s U.S. Crop Protection and Corporate Communications.

In her new role, Luke will work with the both the government affairs and legal teams on issues management throughout the U.S.

“I am excited to bring my passion for American agriculture to the team at Syngenta,” Luke said in a news release. “I look forward to working with the team and bringing my knowledge of the agriculture industry to help handle our most pressing issues in the United States.”

Luke’s experience includes public and media relations and a journalism background. She worked in mass media print and television reporting and producing and was also an editor of a farm publication.

Prior to joining Syngenta, Luke worked as director of of global issues and crisis communication for Bayer’s Crop Science division.
